STAR FABRICATION WORKS & ROLLING SHUTTER
We manufacture all kinds of rolling shutters. There are 3 ways to use the shutter.
1. You lift it by hand
2. You turn a hand crank attached to a gearbox.
3. You use a motor for electrical operation via remote control or push buttons.
The most common type of shutter is made from galvanised iron slitted coils. The width of the slat varies from 3 inch to 5 inch and the thickness has a range of 0.6 to 1.2 mm.
The rolling grill is popular in malls and places that require ventilation and visibility like a pump house or electric meter room. There are 2 basic designs in either rectangular or hexagonal patterns made with solid MS bars from 8 – 10 mm thick.

The aluminium shutter is popular in Mumbai and coastal areas because it doesn’t rust at all. It is more expensive than your galvanised steel shutter and can be difficult to repair if damaged; but overall it is the premium choice for discerning buyers. The slats are available in both single wall and double wall designs.

The polycarbonate shutter is used for areas that need a modern or sophisticated solution like stainless steel and glass. It is most commonly used in malls, but also in balcony or swimming pool areas. It can have aluminium ribs on the edges or can be made with interlocking bricks.
